Like a Reese’s, but better. And made in your kitchen. These layered bars are a dreamy combo of creamy peanut butter and smooth chocolate. No oven, no hassle — just chill, slice, and devour.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (or butter)

Instructions

  1. Make the base. In a medium bowl, mix 1 cup graham cracker crumbs, ½ cup powdered sugar, 1 cup creamy peanut butter, and ¼ cup melted butter. Stir until fully combined into a thick, soft dough.
  2. Press and chill. Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper. Press the peanut butter mixture evenly into the pan. Pop it in the fridge to firm up for 15–20 minutes.
  3. Melt the chocolate. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips with 1 tbsp coconut oil (or butter) in 20-second bursts, stirring until smooth.
  4. Top and chill. Pour the melted chocolate over the chilled peanut butter base. Smooth it out with a spatula. Chill in the fridge for at least 1½ hours, or until completely set.
  5. Slice and serve. Once firm, lift the bars out using the parchment. Slice into squares or rectangles. Store in the fridge, and try not to eat them all at once.
