Crisp, fizzy, and straight-up thirst-quenching. This non-alcoholic cooler blends fresh lemon juice, mint leaves, and soda for a sweet-tangy drink with a minty kick. It’s bright, bubbly, and seriously satisfying.
Ingredients
- 2 cups soda water or sparkling water – chilled
- ¼ cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
- 2 tbsp sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
- ¼ cup fresh mint leaves
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 2 lemon slices – for garnish
- A few mint sprigs – for garnish
Instructions
- Muddle the mint. In a shaker or large glass, muddle ¼ cup fresh mint leaves with 2 tbsp sugar and ¼ cup lemon juice. This releases the oils and flavor from the mint.
- Add ice and soda. Fill the glass with 1 cup ice cubes. Pour in 2 cups chilled soda water and give it a gentle stir. Don’t overmix or you’ll lose the fizz.
- Garnish and serve. Top with lemon slices and mint sprigs. Serve immediately with a straw and a smile.

Chefta’s Notes
📖 This was my go-to after-school drink growing up—mint from the garden, lemons from the kitchen, and that little fizz always made it feel special.
